Schematic, placement and routing, regenerated by versioned scripts.
Vigie is not drawn by hand. Its schematic, footprint placement and routing are produced by scripts kept with the design, so the same command rebuilds the same files.
- The schematic comes from a single description of the components and the nets.
- Board outline, mounting holes, footprint placement and the internal ground and 3.3 V planes are scripted.
- Signal routing is delegated to a router on the two outer layers only; the inner layers stay solid planes.
- Every build ends with a netlist check pin by pin, an electrical rule check and a design rule check.
